THE TURNING POINT
I struggled with my weight in the past. In my mid-twenties, I had moved to a new city and gained weight, however, I lost the weight and got back to a healthy state. When I moved again in my early 40s to a new city and put on significant weight. My heaviest weight was 231
I didn’t like what I saw in the mirror. Who was that woman staring back at me? I was always tired and knew it was time to get my health back on track.
I reached out to Body Refined after realizing I was struggling doing it on my own. Kurt coached me and I made significant changes. I changed my sleeping habits, daily movements, and my overall nutrition regime. Just as important, I made changes to minimize the stress level in my daily life.
Yes, I struggled! It wasn’t easy. Many times, I wanted to revert back to focusing on other things other than me. I still have struggles, but I tackle them easier.
Stress, sleep, water intake and daily activity (movement outside of exercise) were areas that I focused on in addition to nutrition and exercise
I feel great! I sleep better, I have more energy and have a general feeling of wellbeing. Emotionally, I feel strong and at peace. This process allowed me to shed physical and emotional weight.
