Prior to the consultation, you will be scheduled to receive a body composition scan, get body measurements and provide your most recent metabolic panel (blood chemistry analysis). These tests provide vital statistics about your overall health and well-being. This allows me to optimize your program to suit your body’s needs.
The purpose of the health assessment is to establish where on the health continuum you are. Together with your health history questionnaire, the tests and reports will help identify your specific needs and how these needs will be addressed. The assessment varies with the conditions and age of each client allowing me to customize the overall care plan specific to you.
A modern sedentary lifestyle, both at home and in the workplace, is very costly to your health. A 30-60 minute exercise session a couple of days week is conducive to your health, but it doesn’t offset the effects of sitting for extended periods of time. So, I will review your daily activity levels addition to exercise activities to help me to identify contributors your current state of health. Developing healthy lifestyle behaviors outside of structured exercise sessions is just as important, if not more important.
